Can we agree that doughnuts are almost the perfect food that happens to go great with coffee? In honor of National Craft Doughnut Day on Sunday, August 13, from 7am to Noon—Doughside Donuts and Banana Dang have teamed up to create the Pop Up of your dreams. Start this Sunday with handmade sweets inspired by coffee and, of course, bananas.

Decadent doughy treats are crafted by dough-guru Ryan Scott: “I’m a Southern boy, and I can cook.” These snacks are what we imagine a doughnut would look like if it had a house in La Jolla, and wore Dior on a daily basis. But you won’t need to travel far—the doughnuts are going to be on point at Banana Dang in downtown Oceanside.

“I wanna make my momma proud,” says Scott. “When I see someone eat our doughnuts and they close their eyes for just a split second—they let me know that I’m doing the right thing. Makes it all worth it.”

Doughside Donuts are available for $4.00 each, or $3.50 with minimum of half dozen doughnuts. Raising the doughnut bar!
