Event Sponsorship

The SDCN organizes several events each year. 8 TNTs (Thursday Night Throwdowns), also known as Latte Art Competitions. These 8 are split evenly into 2 Seasons. The First Season begins in January and ends in April. The Second Season begins in July and ends in November.

The second type of event is a ticketed event. These are premium events with accessible pricing, which offers a unique, fun and educational experience for guests. We plan on doing 1 of these per quarter; 4 a year by year end 2015. These events also give 10% back to the community through a local charity picked by the main Sponsor.

Finally, we collaborate with cafe owners to schedule pop-up training classes throughout the the year. We will also collaborate with our cafe and roaster owners on other events as desired. TNT Season Sponsor

TNT Sponsor LOGOS appear on our Season Flier and individual digital and printed fliers, and also receive mentions in national media coverage and at the event itself. There are 5 ways to sponsor our SDTNTs & gain visibility locally and nationally (SPONSOR NOW):

  1. Venue Sponsor - $300 per TNT (Logistics & organization, Print & Digital Fliers, Distribution, Video Invite/Recap, Promotion across the SDCN extended network)
  2. Milk Sponsor - $200 (1 per season)
  3. Coffee Sponsor - 10lbs Coffee (4 sponsors per season; 1 per TNT)
  4. Brew Bar Sponsor - $100 (8 per season; 2 per TNT)
    • 2 Prize Packs for Baristas
    • 2 Swag Bags for Raffle
  5. Grand Prize Sponsorship - Item >$50 (1 or more per Season)

Ticketed Event Sponsor

For ticketed events with a minimum of 100 guests, Venue Sponsors pay $1000 for:

  • Organization
  • Marketing
  • Video Promotion
  • Sales
  • Video Recap and photos
  • Sponsor, Charity & Event Coordination
  • Tasting glasses or other guest give-a-ways with your LOGO
  • 10% of ticket sales go to local charity of your choosing

Other coffee vendors that wish to participate in the event pay $200:

  • Exclusive Marketing
  • Photos and Video to share and use
  • 10% of any individual sales go to designated local charity

Friends of Coffee

Companies that wish to support coffee events with raffle and prize items. You do not have to be a cafe or roaster to participate and be promoted on our Season Marketing. Items sponsored include, but are not limited to the following:
