Dec. 5, 2013. SDCN organized Latte Art Throwdown (#SDTNT) at Cafe Virtuoso. The community came out once again supporting local Baristas and giving forward momentum to San Diego's coffee Revolution. Local roasters brought their coffee for brewing and tasting. Good times.

Season 1 kicked off at Caffe Calabria on Jan. 21, 2014. However, the film was lost sadly. Here is the second round hosted by Solutions Espresso Service on Feb. 20, 2014. Once again, the community came out in full support and made it a great evening. This TNT was filmed off the grid in an industrial garage. Devilicious Food Truck supplied us with food and The WestBean and James Coffee Co kept everyone caffeinated. Vanessa Lovel of Cafe Virtuoso prevailed in this round against round 1 champ, Joshua Bonner.

March 20, 2014. Young Hickory hosts. Coffee supplied by Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. US Brewers Cup Champ, Todd Goldsworthy guest MCs. Adriana of Cafe Moto takes the win! Slices of pizza provided by Cicilian slice. Beer special by Golden Road. Good times!

SDTNT Recap: Bird Rock Coffee (Season One Final)

April 17, 2014. Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in La Jolla hosts the 4th and final round of the SDTNT, and the final 8 move on to the Champions Bracket. Dylan Michalek of Slayer Roolz took first in the fourth round and Joshua Bonner took first over all for the Season 1 Championship. Great turn-out from the community and once again Devilicious Food Truck came out in support of all the hungry coffee loving guests.
